STRANGE CREATURES (Feature Film)
Producer: Rachel Forbes, Riley Nottingham
Director: Henry Boffin
Editor: Ahmad Halimi
Year: 2024
"Perfectly paced, which keeps you hooked - the narrative keeps moving and the road trip is a genuine journey." - FilmInk
"It's because it refuses to abide by the expected clichés of the "road movie" that Henry Boffin's film ultimately proves a better product." - The AU Review
Nate Taylor (Riley Nottingham) hasn’t spoken a word to his brother, Ged (Johnny Carr), in over four years, but when their mother passes away from a sudden aneurysm, the brothers must set aside their differences in order to fulfil their mother’s dying wish: to have her ashes scattered at the old family home in the country town of Narrabri.
Strange Creatures is Henry Boffin's debut film, showcasing at the Cannes Marche Du Film 2024 and subsequently screening at Queer Screen, Cinefest Oz and Hong Kong Lesbian & Gay Film Festivals amongst others.
